Hapū-led Aspirations
Hapū Aspirations Toitū Projects
Community Aspiration
Strengthen the community’s relationship with whānau, hapū and Iwi and work towards a true partnership as per te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Objective
He iti te mokoroa, nāna i kati te kahikatea — The mokoroa, the grub, may be small, but it cuts through the kahikatea.
The Toitū Hapū Aspirations projects embody the strength of community, emphasising that even in small numbers, great things are possible. The Toitū programme seeks to offer multiple points of connection for the community, providing experiences of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and te ao Māori as a foundation for connection and wellbeing. Through continuous feedback, we aim to offer meaningful opportunities and inclusive pathways focused on education, creation, and activation.
