Objective
The recruitment and employment of two Raglan Naturally (RN) Coordinators will ensure that every community member remains actively engaged and connected, preventing isolation.
Coordinating Community-Led Development
- Successfully managed all Raglan Naturally (RN) projects, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
- Provided essential support for community-led development (CLD) initiatives, including making connections, offering advice, and writing letters of support.
- Listened to community needs, helping newcomers integrate and guiding them on what works best in Raglan.
Building Strong Community Relationships
- Developed and strengthened relationships with local organisations, groups, and residents, as well as regional stakeholders.
- Engaged in regular networking, attending meetings, funding workshops, and collaborating on shared goals.

Strengthening CLD Practices & Communications
- Expanded Raglan Naturally’s CLD approach by attending national and international conferences, including the World Community Development Conference in Darwin and DIA CLDP Conferences.
- Produced an RN video to share the community’s journey and achievements.
- Kept the community informed via newsletters, website updates, social media, and local networks.
Process Development & Funding Support
- Created systems to better manage CLD requests and explore new ways to support the community.
- Supported the Water Tower Mural Team in accessing CLDP funds and developing a partnership with RN to secure funding.
