Neighbours Month 2024
In March, “Neighbours Month” launched nationwide, and local businesses in Whāingaroa participated by offering prizes to encourage community connection.
Organised by Neighbours Aotearoa, this month-long celebration encouraged people across New Zealand to organise activities with their neighbours. Whāingaroa-based connector, Julia Cardwell, said it was awesome to see Raglan locals come together to celebrate their community. The theme for Neighbours Aotearoa this year was “Growing Together,” emphasising the importance of nurturing existing relationships and fostering new connections within neighbourhoods.
