Raglan Naturally is founded on building, growing and empowering relationships with iwi/hapū and community based on Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Commitment to Tiriti o Waitangi is woven through the Raglan Naturally Plan 2020, our Trust Deed, Trust Objectives, Strategic and Annual Plans and through the structure of our Board and Coordinator roles. The Raglan Naturally Board works in accordance with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The Board comprises representation from Whaingaroa hapū and community in a co-governance model. Co-governance for Raglan Naturally is leading by example, the journey will be constantly evolving. Relationships and partnerships are key. Relationships and partnerships are equitable. These relationships and partnerships are actively supported through research and resourcing. The Raglan Naturally Board is driving the change we know is needed to create a healthy thriving community. Our Trust Board & Governance
We have structured our two roles as Hapori Engagement Coordinator and Community Engagement Coordinator. This enables us to have resourcing and focus specifically for working with Maori and our Iwi/hapu.
Our goal is to host regular Treaty workshops. We will be hosting Treaty Training workshops in September and October 2022.
