Raglan Naturally Survey
Raglan Naturally is a community-led planning process to revitalise our 2001 community plan. Raglan Naturally was re-initiated by the Raglan Community Board in 2016 and is coordinated by the project team and a sub-committee of the Community Board, with input and support from community volunteers, and Waikato District Council.
The process has evolved and is about:
• sharing stories,
• building relationships,
• understanding what we value,
• aligning aspirations and
• setting a foundation for the way we work together
Our combined effort will form a community plan with concrete goals and strategies. The plan will continue to evolve and be a signpost for all who are connected to and supported by this place, including councils, developers, business and community organisations.
Raglan Naturally aims to bring together all areas of future planning and development, including: Community Wellbeing, Arts, Active Recreation, Education, Youth,Natural Environment, Business & Employment, Destination and Visitor Management (Tourism), Infrastructure – water and amenities, Transport, and Local Government & Planning.
11 Focus Groups have started collecting information and ideas around these areas. To see the Focus Group Snapshot Reports, and more detail on Raglan Naturally, visit our website www.raglannaturally.co.nz or visit the Raglan Library Quiet Room to view the Raglan Naturally display and resource folder.
As a member of our community, we value your input and look forward to your response.[/vc_message]
